Notes on the Staff

The musical alphabet uses  the letters A B C D E F G .

After G you start over again at A.  

Notes are written on a staff

A staff has five lines and four spaces

The notes are on a line or in a space.

Learning the spaces notes
F  A  C  E

The higher the note is on the staff the higher it sounds.
The lower the note is on the staff the lower it sounds.
